Saw our renter on facebook the other day and she posted the house decorated for Christmas and her kids playing in the snow.  I really can't wait to be the one to decorate the Kansas house.

Sitting here in California wishing I had lots of extra money so we could take a trip to Ellis.  Sometimes overspending in the past stands in the way of the future.  You would think that after all these years I would of learned how to manage our money.  NOT.   Feeling like an idiot today with too much time on my hands to think. I really need to go back to work.  Neck please heal fast, time go slow when you are waiting on things.  7 more days before I go to the doctor to see if I can get this neck brace off and start living again.

1758 days until we move to Kansas.  August 15th 2016 we hope to move.

Well didn't go to the baby shower because I am not feeling up to par,  My finger still hurts the cut the doctor made is right on the bend so I had to put liquid bandage on it to keep it shut and tape it up so I don't bend it.  Plus my back and neck are hurting and am tired of being in pain and having to function.  So veggie day for me.  Jim did buy me a steak and I made the potatoes with dumplings for the Leiker cook book.  Yummy me.  Well I called a repair man to go look at the dishwasher and stove.  It seems like I can't find anyone who wants to work with the home warranty people.  So this is all for today.

It is Thursday got my stitches out yesterday am happy about that.  Called someone in Hays Ks to look at the stove and dishwasher in the Ellis home.  No one wants to use our home warranty company which sucks.  I called them and told them I couldn't find anyone that would look at or do the work for them.  Oh well will handle that.

Tomorrow is Friday and yes I am glad this week is almost over.

Monday August 8th

Sitting at work tummy hurts, must of ate too much.  Day is going ok hoping the insurance people call so I can get the dishwasher fixed at the Kansas house.  Other than that that is all that I have to say today.  GOD Bless all.

Sunday,  cleaned up the back yard a little.   Now I am sick to my tummy, vision was really blurry and the top of my head felt like it was going to explode.  Feeling  better now,  But I have a yard and house clean enough so I can feel comfortable enough  if someone came over I would be OK with it.   Kansas way of living lets begin today and forever.  I hope I don't have to be a nagging wife which I haven't been in 21 years to have Jim do his part in helping me keep this house clean.

Sat,   Got the house cleaned and laundry started.  Will be kicking back the rest of the day,  Tomorrow I will clean the back yard.  I would  be proud if my cousins or Aunt or Uncles popped in without calling and not ashamed of the normal mess we  have.

Friday night 7:45 pm is it bed time yet.  I am planning on starting my attitude as if I were already in Kansas living.  I am going to clean all the things that don't require water since I can't put my hand in water yet and Jim will do all the water work.

Work was busy today with my own work and with 3 expediters gone I received a call from another department to come over and talk to the purchasing agent and a planner to do a couple orders for them.  I was runny around like crazy and was glad when the day ended.

Well it looks like we have a very good tenant she said they will fix the fence.  But now the dishwasher is leaking but that is o.k. nothing we can't handle.  Will contact the home warranty people about the problem.

Was a very productive day glad it is over though and tomorrow  is Friday,

It is Wednesday 8/3/11 the day after my finger surgery.  I went back to work had a busy day,  Heard from our renter yesterday and she said that her cousin who lived in the home first said the fence fell down during the last wind storm.  I will need to get in touch with the insurance company.  Just received a picture of the fence.  OH My

Well things are going weird here in California two weeks ago our dog Nonnie wouldn't quit sneezing so we took her to the vet and with knocking her out to check her nose out the pills and all her shots 200.00 dollars later.  Then last Sunday I woke up early and decided to live with the attitude as if I were already in  Kansas, I started cleaning out the Fridge and the sink clogged up.  I worked on it for over an hour when I went upstairs for something Jim asked what I was doing so I told him.  He got up and worked on it for most of the day even replacing the pipes.  So Monday we had a plumber out to snake the pipes, another 200.00 dollars,  I feel like we are being 200 dollars to death.

What next.

Oh well live is an adventure.

Today I had surgery on my pointer finger it is wrapped up and can't feel it yet,  Jim stayed home with me and is off to KMart to get dog food, water and something for dinner,  I will be going back to work tomorrow hope it goes well.

When we bought the house our new home in Ellis KS the renter that was in there was going to stay at a lower rent then our house payment.  We were happy to have her and then she decided to move to KC, her cousin really wanted to move in she agreed to pay the house payment amount - the change plus a deposit.  She should be moved in today.  I am excited and really feel this is going to work out for us.

Dreams can come true

Our dreams can come true.  It will take 5 years but we are on our way and we are really happy.  We bought a house and we are renting it out for the next 5 years. 

This site is for me to get through the next 5 years and keep my dream alive.
