I have been working my tail off and can't believe all the garbage we hung on to.  I get about two large bags a day with each room I pack.  I am almost done and can't believe this is the end of my time living in California.  I have been here 99% of my life  I am looking forward to trying out Kansas for the remainder of my time here on earth.  BRING IT ON.

Well received the message today that the renter is moving out the end of December and I can go to Kansas to paint and get the house ready for our stuff and Jim.  Will be exciting to paint and clean the house without furniture in the way.  I know it is sad for Jim and I will miss him but will get a lot done.  Hope it works out.

Our Thanksgiving trip to Kansas was wonderful, surprise visit went great.  We had a great time, arrived in Ellis on Sunday evening spent a hour with my Cousin Stephanie and husband, called Uncle James and Aunt Sherry.  We spent the next day with Aunt Sherry and Uncle James and then with Faith Ann.  Contacted Cousin Patty and spent a couple hours with her just catching up. Went to the house and checked it out again finding different thing I either forgot or never saw.   I think the couch will fit in the living room, but the extra bed won't fit in the basement.  We had dinner with Stephanie's and Beans Wednesday gang was very nice.    Had Thanksgiving with Uncle James and Aunt Sherry Yummy Yummy ham.    

Our Decision.

Well we have made the decision to hang up our life in Calif next year.  Hoping to be in Kansas May - June of 2013.   I only have one week left to work.  It is going to be the longest week of my life.  Jim and I are really looking forward to moving to Kansas.

We are planning on going to Kansas during the week of  Thanksgiving.  Surprise to the Kansas folks, it is going to be a long drive but can't wait.

We have a new renter as of March 1st thanks to my cousin Stephanie.   She sounds like a great person, single mom with a boy child.

Things are O.K.  Our renter face booked me a message she has to move her ex brother in law is stacking her and her family and they have to move.  Thank goodness for my cousin Stephanie she is going to search for a new renter for us.

Well Jim and I talked to the personnel department about our retirement.  We will actually will have money to live on when we get to Kansas.  Won't be rich but will have enough and that is all I ask for.
